Essential Gym Spring Challenge
30 mins a day for 30 days
Overview
The Challenge is usually $112.50 - but I ask that challengers make a donation to the Samoa Tsunami Appeal.
What will happen after I register?
On Friday 30th October 2009 you will receive a PDF Booklet that will lead you through the Challenge day by day – you will be expected to add in the daily emails and the actions you will have taken on a daily basis. Remember if you miss a day for whatever reason you can catch up the next day.
Every day on the challenge you are expected to do an Act of Random Kindness (ARK)
The challenge has been divided into three 10 minute time slots.
10 mins in the morning includes -
a. What am I looking forward today? and giving thanks for a new day, new page, new opportunity (explained in booklet)
b. Recommit daily to living in the ‘now’. Doing everything ‘on purpose’ with a loving heart and best of intentions (explained in booklet)
c. Read - The request (explained in booklet)
d. Breathing exercises (explained in booklet)
e. Start the day with a glass of warm water and lemon juice half an hour before eating
10 mins at lunchtime or afternoon includes -
a. Meditation exercise (2- 5 mins) (explained in booklet)
b. You will receive an email every morning of the challenge which will ask you to carry out an action – do this now.
c. Another breathing exercise (n.b. these can be done without people noticing you are doing them (J (explained in booklet)
d. A reminder of hydration and to be mindful of your nutrition (more info in booklet)
e. Reminder of ARK for the day
10 – 15 mins or so in the evening includes – (you may wish to extend this time)
a. Delightful Daily Habit – (explained in the booklet)
b. Journal
i. Write down the ARK you performed today
ii. Acknowledge what you have done well during the day
iii. Take time to give gratitude and appreciation (explained in booklet)
iv. Reread the request to yourself (explained in booklet)
v. Practice some relaxation breathing (explained in booklet)
vi. Let Go - of the day (explained in booklet)

Essential Gym is home to five accredited International Coach Federation Coaches who with Associate Certified Coach Credentials in place or in progress. All graduates of extensive coach-specific training degrees, courses, papers and modules, our Essential Gym Personal Trainers are fully equipped to ensure all gym-goers remain motivated and enjoy the path to achieve their personal maximum potential.
